STEAM#656 (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math)
STEAM#656 is a fun place where students who have difficulty succeeding in the classroom can learn by having fun. Math, reading and science are all incorporated into hands-on learning activities in a club-like environment.
STOPS (Students Together Offering Peer Support)
STOPS is a volunteer student organization that engages high school aged youth in service work at sites like Ruth's House, St. Vincent de Paul, St. Croix Hospice and Infants Remembered in Silence. This program promotes civic engagement, leadership and volunteerism among students.
Storytime
Storytime encourages language development and fosters a love of reading as well as a lifetime of learning.
Teen Advisory Board
Meetings are once a month.
Tweens and Teens Helping At the Library
This is a volunteer program where tweens and teens can help out with the Summer Reading Program by signing up readers, handing out prizes and reading with younger kids. There are training sessions in May and volunteer sessions until September.
Yearbook Club
Design, promote and sell the Faribault High School yearbook. Yearbook club will help reinforce writing and social skills.
