Teen Outreach Program
The Teen Outreach Program is an activity of MESA (Mejorando la Salud de los Adolescentes) that focuses on decreasing the gap between non-Latino and Latino teen pregnancy and sexual health. The TOP Clubs emphasize service-learning, leadership development and healthy communication as ways to help Latino teens be successful.
This program entails one-on-one mentoring focusing on academic planning, career readiness and pre-vocational skill training.
Tweens and Teens Helping At the Library
This is a volunteer program where tweens and teens can help out with the Summer Reading Program by signing up readers, handing out prizes and reading with younger kids. There are training sessions in May and volunteer sessions until September.
Water Safety Instructor Training
This is a 30 hour course in which students learn to demonstrate the skills and strokes consistent with the Red Cross learn to swim level 4.
Design, promote and sell the Faribault High School yearbook. Yearbook club will help reinforce writing and social skills.
